Just when I reach the point that I think I would welcome all organizations which claim to be concerned for the welfare of children, I find a type which can only harm both the children themselves and the genuine attempts of sincere, sane people to rid the internet of this trash.
How is that possible? Simple. By posting their own brand of trash, thinly disguised as "concern for children". I refer to the nutcase fringe of the religious right on the internet. It's brand of sickness isn't as obvious as that of the child molesters, making it even more difficult to track down than the "boylovers" who ALSO proclaim their "concern for children".
There are many disturbing similarities between these seemingly diverse groups. Both preach their own doctrine as truth, the ONLY truth, both are willing to destroy those who impede their sick needs, both have their origins in a relatively small group of mentally ill individuals. Neither group is new, and most people have never taken seriously the threat that they pose. Both groups pervert the term "Love" to a degree which renders the true meaning of the word unrecognizable.
So, for the record, I have NO connection with those who would call themselves "Christians", and conveniently turn their backs on any recognized moral standard. Whether it is Charles Manson, Jim Jones, or those whose true intentions are somewhat less obvious, they are all the same, and those who truly give a damn about children wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole.
